Perishing With No Vision

The other day a friend posted on Facebook something that correlated with the title.  At the end of her post she quoted out of the Good Book a passage that simply states a people without vision will perish.  I have been doing some thinking on that very subject lately as I have a vision but not the means to see it through and this would not be the first time.  Thankfully some of my other ideas have come to fruition as I passed them along to others with the ways and means.  The fact that I already know I live on borrowed time notwithstanding does not mean that just once I would like to be a part of the making of a vision come to fruition.

Even more so as these times we find ourselves in, so filled with uncertainty which has people worried when they need not be has me seriously thinking on how to accomplish this one.  Call it a calling, a quest oh heck call it whatever you want to but the truth is I have this vision which has been in development for some time, yes it is somewhat of a business venture but it is more than that as it would be a place where I would challenge people to step beyond their comfort zone, to seek the truth, to face their demons and at times to just take a step out of their daily reality.  I had been looking at all possibilities but have realized I really do not want to go back into debt to make this happen as that is apart of the vision to see people become free and apart of that equation help break their bondage to their debtors and if at this place I am going to teach and preach that well having an organization that is beholden to a debtor well that will not do.  I believe the word is hypocrisy.

Will it kill me if I do not get to see this vision come to pass, no as I have already seen that writing on the wall and know every day I wake up is a gift so if one day I do not wake up well there is no skin off my back.  Still as I continue to see our young move farther into a state of having no vision or at least not one rooted in reality, having already helped hundreds over the years I would like to try.  I know in the end it will cost me around twenty million into today's currency, I could probably start for about ten, so if anyone happens to read this and just happens to have some spare change left after were robbed by Chase to pay Pelosi, Obama or whoever and know this Occupy thing will come to no fruition but still feel you want to be a part of something leave me a message.
