Time and distance gone
By the way side
Miles passed
Under my feet
On the Journey
Taken
Aged
A statement
That youth
Escapes me
Time gone
Never regained
Strength diminishes
Replaced
By understanding
And knowledge gained
The world seen
Through softened eyes
Watching them chase dreams
Seeking love
Hearts broken.
Tired of living behind the veil of silence and political correctness.
