A month has passed, since my move to Scottsdale, I now am asking myself was it worth it. For the hours I have been putting in I can tell you the money is not worth it not to mention I have gone from doing the work I love being involved with show production to making sure the banquets department has enough circuits to power their toasters.
Okay maybe that's simplifying it a little too much but at almost 72 hours a week I have watched my hourly calculations of what I am getting paid plummet. In the end though the job got me south and has allowed me to be warm and there are possibilities. So yes it is worth it and going back to freelancing is always a possibility. Time though will be the score keeper so for now I am taking a wait and see until hopefully after my family joins me.
